This is very simple: you write a one shot using a song for the basis. You use the lyrics *creatively* throughout the piece - you don't mark them, you incorporate them into the story. Let's give a short example:
Ben looked up into the sky and he felt happy. Ridiculously happy. He clapped for all the joy he felt, and was relieved that he felt he knew he was happy.
The song here would be "If You're Happy and You Know It". We all take turns. The first person writes a song fic (one shot, and please don't go overboard in length here, but try not to make it too short). First person to guess the song the author intended goes next. One of you guys can start, because I'm half asleep. This is great writing practice, trust me.
