Maybe it's his caustic mannerisms, but I absolutely love House. Did anyone catch last night's episode with the Death Cat?

In Malaysia, we seem to get our episodes years (OK I'm exaggerating) later.
But I love House! He's just too much fun!

Hehee...Death Cat. I love cats, so I thought the episode was really cute (and the cat was gorgeous). Hugh Laurie is so amazing at playing House. And I just want to hug poor Wilson....
This is one of the few shows my parents and I watch together. I care more about missing it, though (Dad and I watch The Big Bang Theory, which comes on at the same time...I went with House, he went in his room and watched TBBT).

I only have a few shows that I watch consistently. I usually DVR this for my fiance because he's at work when it comes on. Sometimes, I'll wait to watch it with him on his day off.
It was a great, and cute, episode.

Are you looking forward to the next episode? I swear to god, I'm seeing babies everywhere...(the new episode of Bones this week is supposed to have like, 4 teen moms in it, next House might have Cuddy adopting....)
Hmm...House comes on at 7 my time...please, please let that not be when Ben 10 is...I'm not sure how I'll choose....

I got confused by the previews. Didn't Cuddy already adopt the baby earlier this season?

She was just fostering her, apparently. I'm confused as well, because I don't remember them saying that she wasn't going to keep her (In fact, I'm pretty sure the Christmas episode where she got the baby she said something about adoption papers), but I guess something either happened or the writers forgot.

I'll check the listings, but I'm pretty sure this one already aired. I thought I remember House getting on her case about whether or not the birth mother would let her keep the kid. I could be wrong, though. Wouldn't be the first time lol

*laughs* Well, I could be getting mixed up. It wouldn't be the first time I've caught an episode that was actually old and thought it was new just because I hadn't seen it (I kept missing that one, so maybe it IS a repeat)

YES! We get CTB back for an episode...even if she is just a hallucination (Of course, she couldn't be anything but that...). What happened to Kutner was sad, of course, but it actually just made my mom angry...mainly because it took place off screen and there didn't seem to be much reason behind it, other than that that actor is now working at the white house. It didn't bother me too much...I love Kutner, but maybe this'll get more of House's old team to show up (Foreman was always my least favorite....I love Chase because I'm shallow, and he's hot - plus who doesn't love that accent? and I love Cameron because I can identify with her more than the other doctors).

I agree. Chase is cute. And I like Chase/Cameron. As expected, I am behind you guys. We haven't got to Kutner's major incident yet (I know what happens, but we're not there yet. Don't know how far behind we are and too lazy to figure out). Anyway, Alexa, House is in fact, what you said. However, I'll put it more delicately and say that he's eccentric. He's addicted to Vicodin (I think, he's always eating painkillers), and he likes to put people down and be a jerk (well, not sure whether he does, but he certainly seems t enjoy doing it). He's also insanely intelligent and Cuddy notes that he was a sort of legend. But the series doesn't revolve around him although he is a main character. It's sort of a more scientific version of Grey's Anatomy, minus all the bawling-your-eyes-out drama (which is kind of why I prefer House to GA - but I'm going off topic). It's a sort of satire of the medical institutions. At any rate, the series also deals with other main characters, such as Taub's marital problems, Chase/Cameron's rocky romance (Cameron used to have a crush on House, which was unreciprocated). But the focus of each episode is a patient who comes in with mysterious illnesses and House and his team has to figure out what's wrong with the patient, and the team does all the medical checks to find out what are the reasons for the disease and try to explain the abnormal symptoms. By careful analysis of all the symptoms and relating it to known diseases, House & co. are then able to treat the patients for their illnesses. So, I'll try not to spoil it any more for you. Wikipedia has a pretty detailed entry about House though; if you need more spoilers/background, that's always a good place to start. If I'm not mistaken, the last episode I saw was the one with House & Cuddy's kissing aftermath. And Melanie, Foreman was my least favourite as well. Seriously, that guy always tries to compromise and ends up pleasing no one.

For me, it wasn't that Foreman compromises, it's that he was always saying "I don't want to be like House, I'm not House, etc.". Guess what? Now he's practically House. The only difference is that he's capable of love (which I don't think House is anymore...poor guy).
You know the episode with the gypsy kid? Keep an eye out very carefully in that episode. Greg Cripes (voice of Kevin E. Levin) is actually in it (he's not very important to the plot, if I remember correctly...something like just a delivery guy or something...)
Oh, and cuteinpurple - there are *some* very sad episodes, or moments that just sort of make you go "...I can't believe they'd do that to another person.".
Spoiler alert - Was anyone else really upset by the episode with the lesbians were one gives the other one her ..liver, I think, even though the one who needs it wants to leave her? Just that quote at the end "She was going to leave me. Now she can't..." that really bugged me.

Yes! CTB is back tonight (since House is hallucinating). I really liked her...honestly, I was shocked when she ended up with Wilson. She's just so much like House that it made me laugh a bit (only she did show towards the end that she was capable of being nice...)
