just wondering what movies you guys are looking forward to?
I want to see Up from Pixar (I love Pixar...) and the next Harry Potter movie.
How about you guys?

I'm with you on those. I don't get many chances to go to the movies these days. I wanted to see the remake of "Witch Mountain" but haven't gotten there yet.

I dunno...there was a different remake of Witch Mountain just a few years back. I don't see why we need a 3rd version (then again, having The Rock in there as the big actor instead of Jennifer Aniston is definitely preferable in my book...)

That's mainly why I wanted to see it. I try to catch any movie that he's in.

You really love your Dwayne Johnson, huh? Don't blame you. He shocked me with how good he was (let's face it, most people who try to be double or triple threats usually suck at at least one of the things they try)
Trying to decide if I'll bother with Dragonball: Evolution. I used to love DBZ, but it looks like they got so much wrong that I don't think I'll want to watch it...I can get over some differences (I actually liked the first two X-men movies even though I could give you very long lists of things they got wrong), but it depends....somethings should never be changed (thus why I hated the 3rd X-men movie....you shouldn't kill off main characters who never really died in the source.)

I'm trying to decide about the Dragonball one too. I liked DBZ too, but the movie just looks kind of... well "meh".

The awful thing is I keep watching the trailer going "...why the heck is Goku a white guy?!"

I know, right?
But that's Hollywood for you.

Yeah, but it looks like the girl in it is Asian....I wonder if that's supposed to be Chichi? I'm betting they're not going to have anything about Saiyans in it. Which would really make it suck, cause then it's not Dragon ball, it's ...I don't know "lame-o movie inspired by a series and we're gonna throw dragon balls in there to get your money".

I saw the movie Knowing when it first came out. That was an epic movie. It was super good. It's a little 'scary' at part, but for the most part it's sad.

Huh...may have to watch that one, then. I've been hearing good things about it...

I wasn't really a fan of Dragonball, but I thought the white kid looked something like Goku - was it the hairstyle. I wanted to see the Witch Mountain, because I like the actors. The Rock isn't bad, and I adored AnnaSophia Robb from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I also liked Alexander Ludwig from The Seeker: The Dark is Rising. Actually, I had a fangirl crush on him. Even though he's younger than me (by about a month)...

There's nothing wrong with liking someone a bit younger than you (For me, it's Daniel Radcliffe...and he's only 6 days younger than I am....)
I kind of want to see The Ghost of Girlfriends Past. I'm not sure why, I usually hate chick flicks.
Mom keeps going on and on about Wolverine Origins. I will not be watching that, as I am a comic book nerd and am still ticked off at the 3rd movie. (plus the commercials have Gambit making his cards fly, which was NOT one of his abilities. As Gambit is one of my favorite X-men characters ever, I will seriously be an annoying little fan girl if I get dragged to this movie.)

I LOVE GAMBIT! (Well, I love Gambit/Rogue... Sue me, I'm a little romantic-at-heart.) But Gambit's powers are seriously awesome. Back to the point, though Gambit is awesome. And because X-Men is my favorite superhero - er, story? let's not call it comics; I watched the cartoon - universe, I probably will beg my sister to download it for my on the computer (she's good at that. Like I said, she LOVES entertainment). Don't know whether I will like it though, I liked the 3rd movie, even if it wasn't as good as the 2nd. But for X-Men, I liked Rogue the most. It has nothing to do with Anna Paquin's acting, I just always thought that Rogue had the coolest powers. Anyway, the fact that they're doing Wolverine might be a good sign - Wolverine always seemed to me like the most fleshed out character. I HOPE it's good.
