I LOVE Sailor Moon! I watched it when I was little and I still watch it now. I'm almost done with the entire series. I've watched it both in English and Japenesse up until half-way through Sailor Moon Super S. Does anyone else have an obsession with it?

I used to be a huge fan back in Junior High and High School. I was really into anime back then and it was one of the shows I would watch all the time. A group of friends and I went to Otakon one year dressed as different characters from the show. I haven't watched it in a long time.

Thanks for welcoming me and I'm still in middle school, so maybe that's why I love anime. That's cool how you dressed up as different characters. I'm making a Sailor Moon costume for myself because I can't find one I like.

Oh my god, I remeber this show! I watched it a long time ago back when I was in preschool. The last time I saw it was last month when my sister had an obsession with it. She wouldn't stop watching it; anyway, I saw that episode when Sailor Moon's daughter came to the past. I don't really remeber her name, but I do remeber that she has a unicorn friend though.  |

Wasn't her daughter named Reenie or something like that? And she ends up turning into Chibi-Moon? It's been years, but that sounds about right

Rini. And yeah, she was Chibi-Moon (swear something was going on between her and Sailor Pluto...).
Anyways, I love the series, but the dub? Awful. Did they really think they'd convince people that Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are just cousins? *laughs* Even on the new releases of the DVDs, the dubbing doesn't admit they're in love. Anyways, I grew up with the series, and I loved it. I have the 3 Sailor Stars books (a friend who worked in a theater found them, no one claimed them, so she gave them to me). And I have the first movie and a DVD of...I'm not sure which one. It's where Pluto awakens as the Sage of Silence.

My biggest problem with the first season was how they made Zoicite (forgive the spelling, it's been a while) a chick in the dub when originally it was a guy.

That and the actual story has so many lesbian themes to it...pretty much all the scouts are in love with Sailor Moon. Of course, she's only with Tuxedo Mask (I used to have such a crush on him...now that I'm older I'm like "....why is he just wearing glasses and who the heck tries to fight in a tux?)

Then again, who fights in mini-skirts and heels? It's anime. Logic doesn't apply. It was still a decent show if you ignore the changes they made with the dub.

Actually, that was one reason Sailor Mars was my favorite. Yeah, the others are kicking butt in boots, but she's wearing full on heels! It was a pretty addictive series. It still can be fun to watch (go on youtube sometime and look up the live action Japanese series. It's a real kick..)

Trust me, it's just...it's hilarious beyond all reason.
Anyways, I think the first time I watched this was when my family went on vacation in Hawaii...dad woke us up really early (can't remember why, but it was still dark outside), and the only way to keep me from going back to bed was to turn cartoons on. And there Sailor Moon was...the first episode I ever saw was the one were Rini becomes ...what was it? "Black Lady"? Something like that.

I can't remember when they started showing it. I remember they took it off for a while, then brought it back. I used to love that theme song.

I know like everything about that show. Haha and yeah I think Tuxedo Mask is hot for an anime character. I hate to admit this, but I have music from the dub and sub. I'm such a Sailor Moon nerd!
