That's a scene I'm very eager for. I want to see his face when she shows up....I'm pretty sure him cropping up again on earth would be a big enough deal for Verdona to come back, to see him at least one more time. Plus she said something about him hiding his work from the Plumbers, and he's said something about it as well....I'm wondering if he even realized he'd married an alien.

That's a good point. He might not have known what she is. What a twist that would be!

Well, Max is intelligent. So he might have figured it out when Gwen started showing powers. But then, maybe not. I'd love to see his face if he *didn't* know.

Max is smart in a lot of aspects, but love makes people blind to things sometimes.

Very true. But what I really wonder about is how Frank knew if Max didn't. And did Carl know? Verdona admitted that she thought Frank might have had the 'spark' because he always knew when she was watching/listening in, but the only mention of Carl she gave was to say that Ben hadn't developed powers.

Good point. So it;s likely that Max knew. I don't think Carl would have, though. Until he finally pulled out the old weapons, he wanted to deny everything that happened with Max and the Plumbers.

Well, maybe Frank didn't realize that she was an alien at first and thought she was just an old woman with powers, but put two-and-two together after he and Carl found out about the Plumbers? I dunno. they need to explain all this. It's not an explanation we need, but I'm really curious about it.

It's one of those things that isn't really important in the grand scheme of things, but it would be nice to know.

Exactly.
Kind of like *how* Ben got the omnitrix off the first time. They said it was really hard to do, but they didn't say any more than that. I did laugh pretty hard when Carl was trying to use all those power tools on the omnitrix and they kept breaking.

That was funny.
And you know... I never did learn how he got it off the first time. Is there a final episode of the original series that explains it?

I watched the final episode, and believe me, you'll just be even more confused. Not only does he *not* take it off, but his whole school knew about his powers, and his teacher even insisted he go on a 'recess break' or something like that when they see an alien outside (Or maybe the alien attacked the school, I don't remember exactly).

I saw one that was labeled as an AU final episode where he got back to school and Gwen ended up in his school. Is that the one you're talking about? Was that seriously the final episode?

I'm actually not sure. I think it was the final episode, but I didn't see anything about AU (maybe I missed them saying that, or maybe the writers put that on later...I dunno). It's all very confusing. Maybe if I sat down and watched the whole of the original Ben 10 I could figure it out, but Ben and Gwen in that series really frustrate me. I do like that version's Kevin, though.

They had a few episodes that started off with comic book scenes and talked about "how things could have been" like the "Gwen 10" and the future episodes.
I'll have to do some research on it.

Yeah. And Ken 10 and Ben 10000, although also possible what-ifs are interesting. Theorizing about what could be, and joining all the loose ends together would make for interesting stories. We should actually have a separate board for all these what-ifs and theories, IMO.
