The video for "From Yesterday" is great too (although the one for "The Kill" is among my favorites). I'll track down a link for it in a little bit.

Being in my Slumdog Millionaire mood (although I thought the ending was a little weak; the plot was wonderful, though), I heard the song Jai Ho. I think it won an award for Best Original Song (its composer A.R. Rahman also won an award for his work on the soundtrack - he's awesome too). There's a version by the Pussycat Dolls. They aren't exactly my kind of music (I like their edgier songs though, like Beep), but I liked their version of Jai Ho. It means 'You are my destiny' in Hindi for those who are interested. So, the original version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV1NWKKJVEsThe one by the Pussycat Dolls: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFpZ2mlR04II don't know whether you guys will like it. I do, but I'm just eclectic - I like almost anything, except heavy metal and swing. OMG, Lasa, when I was replying to your post the videa for "From Yesterday" came on! Like, weird!

I'll have to check those vids out later (I'm kind of "in the zone" right now for this scene and don't want to get off track). Generally speaking, I'll give almost everything a chance, but afterward, I'll stay in my comfort zone.
And that is weird, but awesome at the same time! I actually have the 30StM CD in the player in my car right now. I love that video.

I like Pussycat Doll's Beep and Wait a Minute, but I don't like them themselves...I think they're horrible role models for little girls, and only the lead singer can really sing. *shrugs* My opinion.
My parents don't have their speakers set up, and I don't know how to set them up, so I can't really listen this way. I *may* use their copy of limewire to just download the songs....
My really weird one? Abba. I actually adore Abba songs (no, I have not seen Mamma Mia).

Agreed! I watched so many disney movies on youtube. And i favourite like four disney movies. "Hercules", "Nightmare Before Christmas", "Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "Mulan2" Hunchback of Notre Dame is a good movie! The second movie was just..meh. The beginning song in the first movie was just epicly awesome!
Hercules is just AWESOME. Megara is awesome, she has character, personality and isn't that innocent, plus I like the song she sang int he movie.
Nightmare before christmas is just awesome.
Mulan2 was good. I like the princesses song. It is really cool. I like the princess with the yellow fan. lol.
Disney movies and music are just AWESOME

Megara may just be the coolest Disney gal ever. She and Mulan, I think, are the only ones to *save the guy* instead of the other way around.
Nightmare Before Christmas has such an amazing score. I always watch it on Halloween and again on Christmas.
Then again, I'm a musical obsessor...lately singing along to "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.".

Yeah, Mulan and Megara are cool, they both have personalities. Not like other disney princesses(NO offense to them). where they be falling into ones trap and then yeah... Today, my friend pointed out that in every disney movies, someone dies...O.o
Cool, I liked that movie, the animation was really good. The songs were good too.
Same, I really love Megara's song and Young Hercules song...It just somehow fits my life...But then again, both are terrific songs.

My niece runs around in circles singing "I Can Go the Distance". It's very cute.
One of my favorite songs lately is Reba McEntire's version of "So Far Away".

Awww, that would be so adorable.
Megara and Mulan saves their guys right? What about Belle from Beauty and the Beast? She somewhat saves the prince right? (watched beauty and the beast last night, the song the candle sings "be our guest" right? zomgness, loved it)

You could say that she did, but she didn't put her life on the line like Meg and Mulan did (though Belle is definitely one of my favorite princesses).
Any song from "Wicked", just about. Well, not too fond of the Wizard's song ("Sentimental Man" or something like that). "Defying Gravity", "I'm Not That Girl", "No Good Deed", "Popular", etc. I love them. They're great.

Ahh, Yeah, Belle is cool. Just creeps me out how ALL the villagers wake up at the SAME time...
I like "generation","beautiful u r", "electric avenue" and probably some more...

Well, see, the villagers all wake up at the same time every day to rehearse. How'd you think they all knew the lyrics? ^_-
Just burned a new CD today....random songs. "High School Never Ends" by Bowling For Soup is stupidly touching for me. It's not actually touching, but one of my best friends made a video of all of our friends together using it, so even though it's a hilarious song I sometimes want to cry at it. Still love it, though.
