Anyone have any ideas to help get this place into shape? a board you really think we should have?
I do have one idea myself (I wish I could claim it was really my idea, but the idea was taken from the RonStoppable Kim Possible forum). Anyways, here's the deal: An "Ask The Character" board. It's different from an RP board because not just anyone can pretend to be whomever from the show. You have to audition (via PM) for the character you want. Whomever can answer questions and sound the most like the character gets to create a new profile as that character, and answer questions and even post randomly around the board, as that character.
The main rule is that you're not allowed to reveal who you're playing. To anyone. It just helps the illusion that the character's on the board. It has to be a character that's well established in the series (and for obvious reasons, no OCs).
Let's say Person A and Person B both want to be Kevin Levin. Well, both would send me a message that has the headline "Kevin Levin", and a message saying they'd like to play him. I'd send them the survey questions, that they must answer in character. And of course, they must answer questions based off of canon (Trust me, it might not work out if you start making too many theories. The Drakken at that board claimed to have a girlfriend, and then the finale aired and Drakken/Shego became canon. Made it a little awkward).
Once someone wins a character role, they keep it until they give it up (or have become inactive for 3 or more months. Then their character will be up for grabs).
What do you guys think? I know I had a lot of fun doing it (since it's been months since I've been to that board and I'm sure someone else is playing the character, I'll admit that I actually rp-ed as Frugal Lucre. It was really fun.)
If you win the character role, you have to set up a fake email account (this way it's not too easy for people to know who you are), and your profile will say the name of the character, and I ask that you get a picture of the character to help.
Well, opinions?
