Ben 10: Alien Swarm

OMG!

So I finally figured out SOMETHING about Elena. If you guys haven't heard, she's supposed to be Ben's long-time friend (from where, exactly, I have no idea).

Ryan Kelley (Letters from Iwo Jima) stars in the coveted role of 15-year-old Ben Tennyson, who, armed with the OMNITRIX, can transform into 10 different aliens. Barry Corbin (No Country for Old Men), who stars as Grandpa Max, draws upon his past experiences with the paranormal to help guide and protect Ben and Gwen. Galadriel Stineman (Junkyard Dog) is Gwen, Ben’s super-powered cousin and voice of reason. Newcomer Nathan Keyes plays Kevin Levin, who has joined Ben’s team for the good of the universe but still seems to have a scheming side. Alyssa Diaz (Little Black Book) plays Elena, a long-time friend of Ben. Elena’s search for her father leads the group into an adventure to stop an alien threat from destroying the world.

Now, I'm almost positive that there will be a Ben/Elena sort of moment. Before, I was suspicious, but now, yeah.

Hmmm, that makes me wonder about Julie.

Hmm..interesting....and has anyone been announced to play Julie? This may not bode well for the future of Benlie...

I don't think there will be a Julie playing in the movie... Hmmm... Maybe she's on vacation in the movie? I don't know.

But I hardly think that there will be major romance in the movie.

Maybe Ben and Julie break up in Season 3? I've heard no news of Julie being in the movie. And I remember Greg Cipes answering a question from a boy who asked him about Kevin's dad, and he said something like, ''Where gonna show you that in a really cool way." Anyone notice that Elana looks a bit like Kev? Probly isn't true, but it's a thought.

Lol, anything's possible. She's tall with long hair, and she has that bad biker-girl attitude with the hot red leather jacket. She pwns Gwen (Galadriel), actually, in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised in Ben fell for her... Like a temporary crush or something...

It's a possibility. We won't know for sure until they air more, but like I said...it's not a good sign for Benlie that no one seems to be casted as Julie. Hopefully Elena will be cool.

As I said - maybe this is during summer vacation and her parents whisked her off for a holiday... Then again, something could be wrong...

Well, maybe it won't be a romantic sort of thing. Ben *does* like to help people, especially now. Maybe they just figured it was about time to have another girl character in there.

Alien Swarm seems really interesting...

There *will* be a Gwevin kiss. However, it was dark and kind of out of focus. It may have been on the cheek (you really can't tell) and even the Gwevin shipper in me believes that it'll probably be a side effect of the Hive overtaking Gwen. That's my theory, anyways. Could easily be wrong.

The extended trailers make everything look pretty good (the special effects, most of the acting)...although the guy in the window in the latest one (saying something like "that's a good girl, bring them to us" or...something along those lines) was very twitchy, but if it's a side effect of the Hive thing, then it's cool. We'll have to wait and see.

I want Kevin's car.

I'm going to have to take myself away to "IT NEVER HAPPENED" land after this, like I do with Harry Potter sometimes. Or my brain will go off in strange little loop de loops. It's already planned out strange things involving Ryan Kelley. I'm going to keep expecting him to be able to read minds, die from brain cancer, live in limbo with Hayden Panettiere, come back to life as Ben, then bitch at Sigourney Weaver when she won't let him watch the Rocky Horror Picture show with his friends. I will not go into detail about said friends. Oh dear god no. XD

Back on topic: I think the action sequences and fights are going to be the best part. It looks like some kind of crazy smack down is gonna happen in a warehouse or two and Kevin's powers look flipping nifty. Gwen's not so much, but that could just be them trying to get her powers to look more real, like light as opposed to the pink blobby things in the show.

Oh, and uh... you want Kevin's car? I want Kevin's HAT.

You can have the hat. I will take the car. Poor Ryan...they wouldn't let him keep the jacket, even though he asked. That was mean of them. The boy looks good in it.

So, in case anyone has missed it, CN has been showing a bunch of Promos for this, especially during Alien Force episodes.

It's set to air in November.
