*laughs* He is definitely a cutie....I'm pretty eager to see him in costume, though.

I really hope he's the next revealed. I'm the most excited about him, after all. (I wonder if they'll show a snippet with him absorbing something? When they revealed Gwen, they had her eyes glowing with mana for a moment)

That would be awesome. I'm curious to see how they're going to work his powers.

Yeah, I imagine his is going to be one of the toughest to convey, mainly because the plating *does* chip at times or get completely shattered open. (although it's probably nothing compared with having to make the aliens look realistic)

Well, if I read correctly, they're going to be using CGI too.
I just really hope they do better with this one than they did with the retro movie. I was so disappointed with that one.

It was...all right. I think they made Ben a bit less annoying than I found him in the cartoon version of the retro. Other than that, it was just...eh. Not awful, not wonderful. I'm hoping for better.

The part that got me was the whole thing with Eon at the end. The acting was just... bad. I've seen it before and I got through half of it last night before my DVR switched over. It's decent enough, but if Alien Swarm isn't a big improvement, I'm going to be upset.

Yeah...Eon was not impressive. Really, I mainly liked Ben's mom and dad. I love almost-hippie parents, they're just fun (wonder if they get along with Verdona better than Frank and Natalie do?)

Yeah, they did a good job with his parents. I also liked Grandpa Max in that one.

Yeah...not sure he looked quite old enough, but the actor was pretty good. I think the kid playing J.T. looked the most like his cartoon counter part, though....ugh, those girls in Ben's grade...did they just round up the worst little actresses they could find or what?

I agree. The kid playing Cash was trying too hard and those girls... Yeah terribad.
I have higher expectations for this. It's been a couple years, it seems like they have a bigger budget, and they have (hopefully) better actors.

Yeah, I wanted to smack the kid playing Cash....normally, that would be a good thing (an in character Cash makes people want to hit him too, after all), but it was because he sounded like he was reading his lines while he said them. Not bad for a cold reading, but it needed to be better by the time he was actually acting it out.
Well, like I said, I do believe Lee Majors is supposed to be back as Max, but that's awesome because he actually was really good. I've seen a clip of the guy playing Ben, but it was from "Prayers For Bobby"...the little bit I saw, he was actually really amazing.

I haven't seen that one yet. I'll have to look it up. It sounded good. And Lee Majors is listed as playing Max again, which makes me happy too. He did a great job.

Well, I didn't see the full movie...they mainly showed a commercial of him as Bobby with his mom --
Bobby: Why can't you just admit you hate what I am?! Mom: What you've become Bobby: What I am
The way he did it was amazing, seriously.
