I finally remembered to make a new thread for a new month instead of Ninja-editing the old one.

Yay for new thread!
Happy wedding anniversary!
Spent today doing fundraising by selling jewelry. It was a lot of work, but I still enjoyed myself. I think it helped that my younger sister was there to talk to while we waited for people to buy things.
EDIT: I'd like to see 'Turning Point' updated, but in the end, anything you update will be good to see.

Well, yesterday was a great day. We went to see "Death at a Funeral" then went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant in town. The Mr. bought me a copy of "Avatar" on DVD so we watched that last night after Rhiannon went to bed. Thankfully, the top tier of our wedding cake survived the move from Philly to Texas last summer, so we had some of that too.
Working today and we have a storm coming in, but other than that, nothing new here. I'm going to try to write tonight when I get home. I reduced the dosage of my pain meds today and I'm not as groggy as I was last week. Still hurting a bit, but I can deal.

Well, don't push yourself to write too hard if you're still in some pain.
Someone at my school decided to show 'The Princess and the Frog' in a classroom over lunch. It'll probably take a few lunches to finish, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Awesome! PATF rocks...I really should finish my writing for that.
I'm gonna update Turning Point sometime this week but I am unnaturally tired right now for some reason...
How was "Death at a Funeral", Lasa?

I still haven't seen PatF. My mother took my daughter to see it back in December when she was visiting for a couple of days, but I never got around to seeing it. Yay for potential update! Tossing your advice at you though... Don't force it if you're tired "Death at a Funeral" was pretty good. Danny Glover was funny and it had a lot of comedic parts to it. Not something I'd pay to see again, but overall, it wasn't bad.

Like Lasa said, don't force yourself. We'll be patient. Waiting is always the hard part, but once it comes, imagine how happy you'll be! And how doomed the world will be

Read and reviewed, Mel.
I'm working tonight, so I'll be around probably until sometime tomorrow morning.

So, I watched Glee tonight before I came into work and at the end, they did "Total Eclipse of the Heart". For some reason, all I could think of what this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj-x9ygQEGA

I couldn't take the song seriously just because of that. ...They had some great dance numbers, though, but I also couldn't stop laughing at "Run Joey, Run" because it was just so...zany. Which was obviously the intention, but still.
Hooray, day off tomorrow, and sissy's coming in. Then we load the kids up into the car to get their pictures taken. yeeeaah. I'm sure that'll go over really smoothly.
