New episode that premieres tonight on CN.
An ill Ben is pleased to see an old friend in Tetrax but is caught off guard when Tetrax demands Ben give him Chromastone. Ben doesn't even have a chance to explain what happened to Chromastone when Tetrax attacks him demanding that he be handed over. Ben's situation gets worse when Vilgax shows up and it is learned he is after the same thing. Ben now battles to save himself and to discover why Chromastone is of so much importance.
Hopefully this isnt a filler episode. I'm also glad Chromastone might be coming back since he was my favorite alien. 4th to last episode of the SERIES. 4 more weeks of Alien Force kids. Kinda sad that the series and the aliens are going to be gone. New Omnitrix means same ol timer and stuff from Ben 10. Hopefully Azmuth gives Ben some control? anyway hopes for this episode to be good.

1. I missed the beginning, so I was looooooost
2. ...oookaay, what the heck? Odds of magically reviving a destroyed world through space juju:...highly likely, in this series...
3. *cough,coughthecrystallookslikeaphallicsymbolcough,cough*
4. Could not get into this one...at all.
5. ...why is Gwen suddenly so weepy? She cried last week. She cries this week...over Chromostone. No tears when she thought her GRANDPA was dead, she didn't cry when she thought BEN was dead....but she cries over this? WTH, writers? WTH.
6. Car covered in sneeze goo...icky. Gross. Shuddering just thinking about it. I need to go shower now....
So. Not impressed, but I will admit it's *possible* that's just because I missed the first 7 minutes or so.

Not the greatest episode this season, but I enjoyed it.
1. Did anyone else catch the homage to Stinkfly from the original? It was when Jetray said, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a..." And then Vilgax replied with, "I'm going to crush you like the insignificant insect you are!" In the original, Stinkfly said almost the same thing (except he finished with sting like a Stinkfly) and Vilgax answered with the same exact sentence. I'm fairly certain it wasn't a coincidence.
2. Vilgax was awesome in this episode (I loved it when he just tore the crystal off Chromastone's head) except for when he got the cold. I know it's a cartoon and it's supposed to be funny, but the bio nerd in me cringed at the thought of something with a completely different physiology catching a human disease. Plus, he lost a few points on the badass-villain scale for that cold.
3. Speaking of snot-covered cars, I shuddered thinking of what Kevin did to get inside his car...
4. I'm agreeing with you on Gwen being weepy. It just doesn't make sense. Then again, there are plenty of things that don't make sense in this season.
5. Why did all the Petrosapiens look the same? They could've offered a little variety among them, or at least added some females.
Overall, an okay episode.

I know, right? All the Petrosapiens at least *appearing* to be male, all wearing the same thing...it's no wonder they died out, how are they supposed to reproduce? (clearly not asexually, or Tetrax could have revived them singlehandedly).
After catching the beginning, it was...better than I thought, but still not amazing. I think if it hadn't of had the misfortune of coming after "Time Heals" and ...the other episode that came the week before it whose name escapes me right now, I might have marked it better...unfortunately, it came after two of the better episodes of the season, which makes it look all the worse by comparison.
Also, Gwen being weepy + Kevin being emotastic + stuck up Ben = It's getting hard to love these guys. At least Ship is still awesome, and Paradox never fails to be amazing.

I'm fairly certain there were females in the flashback of Petropia back in Secret of the Omnitrix though I can't be certain since I haven't seen it in a long time. Maybe they didn't come back and in a few years, all the Petrosapiens will die out due to an inability to reproduce. And to think that they went through all that trouble to bring the planet back...
Agreed. The prior two episodes were definitely superior.
It's a sad fate. At least there's some good fanfiction out there that still captures the parts of the characters that made them lovable. And a whole lot of bad fanfics that make the search for good fics hard, but that's a talk for elsewhere. I'm hoping they'll improve by the end of the season and that Evolutions does not fit into that formula.
After looking at the Cartoon Network schedule, it appears as if there won't be any new episodes this week.. I hope we won't have to wait long.

Yeah, it's Busy Box next week. Don't even get me started on the hunt for good in-character fanfics.
Admittedly, the first half of this episode *was* funny, and it had the benefit of Vilgax being crazy and not giving a damn about what happens to the Petrosapiens (it was kind of sweet, but completely out of character when he saved that little girl. Just....ugh).
