My predictions:
1. Gwevin
2. People being upset about the Gwevin.
3. People loving the Gwevin and a sudden influx of sappy fanfics about Gwevin.
4. People being indifferent to the Gwevin.
....Also, Hex is supposed to be in there.

Episode summary: Despite being warned by Paradox, Gwen travels back in time to prevent the accident that turned Kevin into a monster from ever happening. Gwen returns to the present only to find that her time traveling caused a series of events that led to Hex ruling the world. It's up to her to fix the future that she created.
Also, I agree with your predictions.

Spoilers Ahead!
Alright, mixed feelings on this one.
Pros: Homicidal!Charmcaster is back and Paradox was in this one(seriously, he had some good lines in this one). Also, it seemed to have a darker tone than usual (Ben chained up in the basement, aside from the usual snark that produces, gave a dark tone to the episode. Not to mention the fact that Charm had killed Gwen in that future.)
Cons: Angsty!Kevin. I'm so freaking sick of him going angsty on us. Grow a pair Kev. It also seemed like another filler. Not much was accomplished towards any kind of story arc. It showed an attempt to restore Kev to his normal form, but in the end, that wasn't accomplished. It was more of a "and the moral of the story is..." episode.
Thoughts?

I *loved* that Charmcaster was back to her "I'm here, I'm sexy, I'm awesome, and I'm gonna freakin kill you" ways. The little part referencing Lucky Girl (...she updated the costume to still fit it? Let it go, Gwen) was kind of neat....since when does Gwen need glasses? That part seemed like a Superman shout-out to me (FYI: I hate Superman).
Pros: YAY, Evil!Charmcaster, Paradox, 3 Gwens (...am I the only one who keeps trying to speculate on what the first time travel Gwen told the past Gwen?), was kind of dark
Cons: Filler. Filler. FILLER. If Kevin doesn't man up soon, I'm going to scream. Also, even when he *doesn't* get force changed into a monster, HE'S STILL WALKING AROUND IN SPEEDOS. Do not try the whole "but he's a rock monster" thing...we've seen him go all concrete or all rock before and he'd just transfer his clothes along with it. Someone in that animation department just likes naked Kevin, I'm sure of it. ....also I had moments where I was like "...this feels like a fanfic. I'd dislike this more if it didn't feel so much like one I would probably write...heh..." (cough, cough Changing Times, cough...).
Again...look...I have nothing against Bwen. But McDuffie gets so freaking mad about it, and yet they keep putting in moments between Ben and Gwen that from my point of view go beyond the whole cousins angle (true, they're close, but when you KNOW people already have those views, certain things are only adding fuel to that fire, and if you're going to whine about it then you need to stop letting it happen).
While not quite as good as Primus, it was still pretty dang good. Bonus points for Charmcaster, done right.

I enjoyed this one. Not quite as much as Primus, but still good.
Pros: Yes! Evil Charmcaster and Paradox back! And the reference to Lucky Girl. I can't believe she actually updated it to fit her, but it was a nice touch. The darker tone was good to see as well.
Cons: Kevin being angsty. I like angst when it's done in small amounts and with good reasons behind it, but this has gone on long enough. Also a bit disappointed that Hex didn't fight more in this episode though I did enjoy Charmcaster fighting (that water spell was cool). Another filler episode, which is also upsetting though I suppose I was partly expecting it.
Trust me, you're not the only one who's wondering what Gwen told her past self.

I just watched the episode and this is pretty decent (and somehow darker), although as much as it is good, it is filler. I agree with LadyLasa about this being a "the moral of the story is" episode. Nothing much is achieved in the end. Paradox had some great lines though. ;D Charmcaster is great (being her homicidal self), but why in the world is Kevin still wearing speedos? The accident/explosion never occurred, therefore there should be no Speedo!Kevin. I'm also slightly intrigued by what Gwen said to her past self. EDIT: Kevin please, enough with the angst.

Seriously, Kevie. If this were a show for older people, I bet Ben would have made a joke about getting you some tampons. Put your manly pants back on. You were my favorite character and now I spend most episodes wanting to slug you. ....I'm in a weird mood.

*laughs* definitely. Kev lost his mancard when they put him in speedos. That's my theory.

I liked this episode. Glad they finally decided to put up something more serious, I've been dying for something like that. But I don't like angsty Kevie either. And regarding all those torture instruments in the basement, if this were an adult show, I wouldn't wanna watch what they did to Ben. *shudders*

Five bucks says someone's going to write a fanfic about Ben in the torture basement.
