Huh...that is a theory. *laughs* Don't get me wrong, I love Julie, but there is definitely that chance that Ben's just desperately clining to having a physical attraction to a girl.

So....I went back and just rewatched All That Glitters, trying to keep Bevin in mind instead of Gwevin (which is hard on that episode). But it got me thinking...why the heck does Ben sound so happy when he asks "are you two having a fight?"

As I said, I'm thoroughly convinced that Ben is gay and Julie is just there as the writers' attempt to make him straight. It would explain a lot of his behavior and why he was so happy to see them fighting.
But, on the other hand, he could just be having a lapse in maturity.

*laughs* I watched that, Paradox, and Plumber's Helpers. All looking for Bevin. There are just moments with Ben were he seems like a gay guy. Thankfully not your stereotyped gay guy, but would anyone really be all that surprised if Ben showed up with a boyfriend one day? I mean, yeah, they'd have to figure out what to do with Julie first, but other than the holding hands thing, sometimes they seem more like friends than lovers anyways.

I agree. There really isn't much romance between Ben and Julie.
I'm glad that Ben's not an over-the-top queen, but I really wouldn't be surprised if he came out. I actually had this discussion with my fiance last night and he just thinks I'm reading too much into it. Then again, he doesn't like the show and has only seen the few episodes that I've watched with him around.

Is it just me, or in the episode "Paradox", when Paradox brings Kevin back, Gwen and Ben pose the exact same way, then Ben drops it when he looks at Gwen...all I keep thinking is that he's thinking "whoops...girly slip again....", because it was just such a girly pose.

I may record it just to rewatch that scene on the tv...over and over again. *laughs* Seriously, though, going back to the first epi...Kevin runs pretty dang fast to go check on Ben at the end. Especially considering he's not supposed to care about him....man, Kevin may be the most overprotective character on the show.
