I have know idea why I hate her. I just can not stand her. I don't know it's just...ugh! I don't know she just bugs me so much. Then again almost every T.V. show I can't stand someone in the episode. I seriously need to get over hating on Julie!

Oh lol, Alexa, you're a fellow Asian? So am I!  Julie is extremely pretty, though. I think she might be as pretty or even prettier than Gwen, actually, because she's so exotic-looking. I see so many smart, pretty red-heads (Sam from Totally Spies, and Blossom for Powerpuff Girls is actually pretty - or is it her hair?) in cartoons anyway. But we need more background about Julie. Agreed? |

Agreed. Julie's pretty, but for right now, she's dangerously close to Mary Sue territory. That could easily be fixed by just giving us more background on her.
One thing I wondered...at the end of War of the Worlds, it looked like Ben was about to kiss her...then instead he looks at his grandpa, then at Kevin and Gwen. I was very confused, like "...are you just too embarrassed to kiss her or what? What's the deal here, Ben? Those of us who think you're closeted would have been proven wrong if you'd kiss your own dang girlfriend!". *ahem*. I'm weird.

Oh lol, Ben's smart. If he was about to kiss her, Kevin will have blackmail powers (Gwen could, but I think she's gotten over trying to embarass Ben) and it's just weird having your grandpa see you kiss another girl, just when you only started (sort of) dating. Seriously. Besides, Ben doesn't have a good experience with girls (Kai. Kai. Kai - notice how Kai rhymes with die...  ), and if he kissed Julie IN FRONT OF ALL THOSE PEOPLE there are so many ways in which it could go wrong - like Julie being disappointed about the kiss or something. Besides, in Asian culture, traditionally you do NOT kiss guys in public (well, I'm generalizing, but still) - maybe Ben remembered they had an audience and Julie would be mortified? Or this will get back to the Tennysons or Yamamotos and then he'll face parent-wrath or parent-aww-they're-so-cute-let's-pick-out-flowers-for-the-wedding (which is seriously scary - and Ben CAN sometimes overthink things, all guys do! )? Why am I making excuses for Ben? *smacks forehead* At any rate, good news for Benlie fans! So Julie WILL be in B10E, so that's good news for y'all who like Benlie! Great! So there's definitely still hope for them, and more time to establish her character a bit better (mainly, I want to like her because her voice actor's cool...she voices Ship! SHIP!!!). I'd like an episode with *just* her and Ben. No Kevin/Gwen interference at all. Pier Pressure had her playing Damsel in Distress and the other epis she's been in, she barely gets any lines.

Yep, but only from my mom's. Apparently I look more Asian than my sister. *she looks more like dad* Anyway, I agree, background would be a nice thing to have. I'm just making up info about her if I use her in a fic. I just hope that they don't make her into a Mary Sue. She has a chance to be a really cool charecter. lol, I think Ben WOULD think like that. He's a critical thinker. And Kai (yes, the whole rhyming thing is totally cool. Kai=die) didn't really help. We all know that was most of the reason he was nervous about asking Julie out in the first place. But a nervous Ben is a funny Ben. And it's cool when he overthinks, "But what if a fly goes through at the same time as that banana creating a banana fly?!" lol. At least he isn't that mature in AF. Yay! She's seriously in that?! Sweet! I can't wait for Evolutions now! *I just hope she isn't portrayed badly... Now I'm worried...* |

I think we're safe with Ben/Julie if she's staying in the series. Break ups aren't too often in kid's shows (....then again, they did break up Nigel/Lizzie in Codename: Kids Next Door....but a lot of fans hated the pairing, so that may be why...). But I'm sure they'll be fine. How many other girls would be completely cool with Ben being as goofy and crazy as he is? (Not that he isn't adorable, at least to those of us watching him on screen)

Benlie rules. They are so awesome. And at least Julie isn't like Kai (no offense to her). I mean, Kai only wanted to keep Ben as a pet...NOT cool at all... If Kai randomly shows up and likes Ben for Ben*yea right*, i'm sure that Ben would be like with Julie.

That's what we're all hoping for. I don't want Ben and Kai together! Seriously, the only reason they put that was because she was his ONLY romantic intrest in the original series. And it seems they keep on changing info as they go along. Can't really say anything against that personally, since I do that too when it involves my stories. Anyway, Julie seems cool. I just hope that they don't alter her into a Mary Sue. She seems pretty awesome. Just a little 2-D for people's taste. |

Agreed...But at least Ben has a girlfriend that DOES not want to keep as a pet...
I hope she'll get to do more fighting along side Ben and the others. Would Shipp be in the new series?

All I have to say is I'm the person that started EHJHC: Everyone Hates Julie Hate Club. Whoa, seriously? Why do you hate Julie? She may seem kind of Mary-sue-ish, but it's because we don't really know much about her. But, that's just my oppinion. I can't really hate her, it's kind of hard to hate a fellow asian. You're asian? I am too! And I don't hate Julie. I don't understand why everyone hates her. She's pretty cool, and she's cute too. And Ben and Julie are a cute couple. I don't hate Kai, but I'd prefer Julie as Ben's girlfriend. At least Ben doesn't have a girl who WANTS TO TRAIN HIM LIKE A DOG!!! |
